What Should We Do?

This week is the 3rd week of Advent, where we typically focus on Joy. “The joy of the lord is our strength” says Ezra and Nehemiah (Nehemiah 8:10). Join us to find strength in the joy which comes from God! Together we will sing, we will read Scripture, we will pray together and for one another, we will be led in a message from Luke 3:7-18, and we will join the Lord at his table in communion.

Bearing Witness: Tell What God Has Done

This week will finish our our Bearing Witness sermon Series by looking at how we tell what God has done. We will sing together of God’s immense love, and we will witness a video recap of the For Dane event from late August. Together we will pray and we will commune with God.

August 15, 2021

On this, 12th Sunday since Pentecost in Ordinary Time, things were… not so ordinary. Adam and family were away for he and Lauren’s 10th anniversary and Wayne Shockley was scheduled to preach before he and his wife, Clarissa, came down with Covid. Unable to preach, we had an abbreviated service of scripture, prayer, songs, and communion. Unfortunately, though, problems with our technology led to us not recording the service. Nevertheless, we were able to put together the elements from service after the fact for you here. Please be blessed with the service we have below.

Equipped

On the Tenth Sunday of Ordinary Time we spend the bulk of our time in Ephesians 4:1-16, examining what it means to be an individual, and how God has equipped us with gifts. Nadine Miller shares her witness, and Lauren Tomlinson leads us in worship.

The Downpayment

On the 7th Sunday of Ordinary Time, we begin a journey through Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. We heard from the prophet Amos, responded with the words of the Psalms, prayed for one another, and joined in communion. We were led in song by Lauren Tomlinson and Brianna Wales, marking the first time we had a live worship team in over 15 months! Stephen Mooberry shared how he has found God in the midst of the hobbies and interests that God has blessed him with.

We also began worshipping in a new Sanctuary arrangement! If you weren’t there, come check us out.

Your Faith has Saved You

On this, 5th Sunday of Ordinary Time, we look at Mark 5:21-43 and explore what it means to have faith that saves. Jesus heals a woman because of her faith. What does that mean for our faith today? Join us in song, Scripture, prayer, a sermon, and communion as we explore this together!
