This weekend we will join in worship to reflect on Christ who speaks peace to the world and who speaks peace to us. Christ sends us to the world with a message of peace. Join us for worship. We’ll sing, read, pray, and eat at the Lord’s Table.
This weekend we will kick off the summer; we will be joined by Jacob ALbrecht from SICOM who will present a bit about the conference this fall, we’ll hear a sermon, Scripture will be read, and we will sing together. We will join in Communion to conclude our service.
This weekend is the celebration of Pentecost. 50 days after Passover, while the disciples were in a room, the Holy Spirit came among them like a whirlwind. Ever since, the Holy Spirit has been given to followers of Jesus as a comforter, teacher, and guide. That is something to celebrate! Join us as we rejoice!
This is the last Sunday of the Easter season. Next week is Pentecost, celebrating 50 days from Jesus’ resurrection where the Holy Spirit was given to us! As we end the Easter season, we will look at the last verses of the Bible, and the call for Jesus to “come quickly.”
This week we will rejoice in God’s Spirit, who teaches us, who gives us visions of the future, and who restores our souls. Together we will sing, read scripture, meditate on God’s Kingdom, and take communion.
This weekend we are joined by John and Ruth Navis, of Christ for Sao Luis, one of the missions that Westwood supports. Together we will spend some time celebrating Jesus, our Good Shepherd who calls sheep of every nation and tongue to his throne!
This weekend we will look at Jesus’ third interaction with his disciples after he resurrected. Jesus makes breakfast for his disciples, helps them catch some fish, and offers reconciliation to Peter. Together, we will sing, pray, and dwell in the word.
